Our client a market-leading global organization are looking for an Export Clerk to join their growing team
Description:
Duties and responsibilities of the Export Clerk role include, but are not limited to
Effective communication of order requirements packaging, labeling, etc. into the warehouse. Coordinating with customers and logistic partners to provide cost-effective and timely dispatch of shipments
Administer, process and monitor all export orders until timely customer delivery and receipt of payment
Proactive issues management linked specifically to product supply to market with both internal and external customers.
Administer the tender process, including the making out of timely price offers to enquirers. Database management of quoted tenders, followup on award and through to order execution, delivery, and payment
Proactively manage International business linked queries from around the world including prescreening, rerouting and providing customers with timely responses
Profile:
The ideal candidate for the role of Export Clerk will possess
An excellent communicator with professional customer service skills
Previous experience of International Shipping including ImportExport or Freight Forwarding
Experience in Pharmaceuticals or Healthcare desirable but not essential
A real team player with a genuine desire to collaborate in an outgoing, forward-thinking team
A flexible attitude to work, resilience and the ability to adapt in a fastpaced working environment
A desire to develop skills and progress professionally
The ability to take initiative a desire to be challenged
Understanding of Customer Relationship Management, Export Activities, International Freight, International Freight airland
Competent Excel user
