Maintenance & Facilities Manager required urgently: APPLY HERE

JOB DESCRIPTION: MAINTENANCE & FACILITIES MANAGER (But not limited to)

GENERAL MANAGEMENT DUTIES:

General maintenance & facility management and supervision of all clients.
Ad Hoc projects as handed over by employer.
Project management, supervision, and coordination of the work and the liaison with contractors.

– Telephonic standby for any critical maintenance issues, including after hours

– Making sure that work contracted out by Land and Sea clients is done to the specifications in the particular contract of the supplier.

– Keep an up-to-date maintenance and service schedule for each client.

MAINTENANCE DUTIES:

– Prepare proposed work orders for maintenance projects.

– Secure quotes for scheduled maintenance.

– Monitoring of blown lights and repair when needed and keep a schedule of all lights that have been replaced.

– Report any items of maintenance to the relevant portfolio manager.

– Monthly site inspections of all buildings.

– Emergency reaction on any infrastructure dis-function.

SECURITY RELATED DUTIES:

– Register residents on biometric systems.

– Supervision of security contractor and security risks..

– Monitor all contractors to stay within the parameters and rules as stated in their agreement with clients.

– Reporting to portfolio manager should there be any material risks in terms of perimeter security.

CONTROL OF ASSETS

– Authorise and submit invoices for payments to the portfolio manager timeously.

– Submit reports to the portfolio manager as and when required.

MUNICIPAL AND INFRASTRUCTURE SUPPORT

– Reading water meters and electrical meters.

Salary: R15,000.00 to R20,000.00 /month
