The Assistant will support the manager in the daily business operations of the retail store.

Requirements:

Grade 12

Management or assistant management experience in a retail environment

Experience of Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA)

Proficient in English and Afrikaans

Code 8 Drivers License

Duties will include:

Open shop and see to safety procedures

Management of Cashiers and /Packers

Deal with short-dated stock in the shop

Ensure stock rotation is done regularly

Handle any damaged goods

Maintain and monitor shop inventory – ensure that there is always enough stock

Price checks

Regular audits

Client satisfaction
