Job Description:
ImproChem is looking to recruit a Warehouse Controller to work in Umbogintwini. To ensure accurate execution of warehouse transfer orders as per planned delivery date & Sales forecast to meet customer requirements and maintain desired OTIF target across all operating warehouse
Duties & Responsibilities
• Planning and execution of transfer orders as per planning department & Sales Forecast o Ensure optimum truck utilization when planning and executing transfer orders to respective warehouses. o Liaise with planning, production and external warehouse reps regarding status of the transfer order i.e. loading date, delivery to warehouse, order fulfilment status etc. • Monitoring and manage GIT stock to external warehouse as per internal GIT stock SOP o Investigate in transit discrepancies with both the sending and receiving warehouse. o Ensure GIT stock from Production is planned and executed (delivered to External Warehouse) within 24hrs. • Stock control o Ensure stock discrepancies between the sending and receiving Warehouse are resolved within 24hrs. o Ensure all Chemtrac serial numbers are recorded on the picking list, record the serial number in the system and transfer stock accordingly. o Schedule monthly and quarterly stock counts with external warehouses. o Manage stock returns.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Matric / Grade 12. • Relevant qualification in Warehousing & Distribution or NQF equivalent. • Minimum 3- 5 Years administration roles within Warehouse and Distribution include stock controlling. • Skilled in Microsoft Office Package, WMS and other ERP systems. • Experience in dealing with Logistics service providers (Transport and Warehousing).
