Introduction
To lead, manage and coordinate all hospital activities and to meet the needs of internal and external customers through the execution of both the group strategy and hospital operational objectives. The incumbent accepts overall accountability for the performance of the hospital operations and adherence to all Group policies and procedures.

Specification:
Prepare, monitor annual budgets, implement corrective action as and when required, plan and deliver on capital projects on time and within the specified budget, manage revenue, cost of sales, overheads, EBITDA and working capital.
Maintain quality patient care delivery standards and improve quality metrics through key management members.
Lead, market quality actively as it relates to staff, doctors and other stakeholders and engage specialists in terms of capacity utilization and driving occupancies.
Participate in and present hospital operations feedback and performance at Group forums.
Develop a marketing strategy for the hospital aligned to the Group’s business plan and marketing strategy.
Build mutually beneficial relationships with Specialists and GP’s (including emergency unit provider/s) and drive the recruitment and retention of Specialists taking into consideration Doctor / Case mix.
Requirements:
Health Care related Post-graduate qualification/MBA
5 to 10 years’ proven leadership and general business management experience (including financial and operations management experience) within a healthcare setting or services industry.
Knowledge of the private healthcare industry, its challenges and role-players including the understanding of relevant legislation.
