Specification:
Responsible for the planning, organizing, implementing, supervising, and participating in the operations of inventory control of the Samrand warehouse.
Effective management of inventory within the warehouse according to the Samrand warehouse policies and procedures.
Take responsibility for the overall performance of the inventory team of the Samrand warehouse.
Adhere to all housekeeping rules and regulations according to policy as well as all Health and Safety regulations and standards.
Instruct warehouse personnel when and where to return defective or non-stock items.
Maintain accurate inventory levels.
Work effectively and efficiently with cross-functional teams, including those from purchasing, sales and the warehouse.
Work on ad hoc projects as assigned.

Requirements:

Grade 12.
At least 1 year experience in a similar position which should include: Stock control knowledge of a wholesale distribution warehouse.

Skills:

Proven computer skills with regards to Microsoft Office (Basic level), and knowledge and experience of the company’s operating system (ACS Embrace)
will be advantageous.
Bilingual with the ability to speak, read, and write in English and Afrikaans.
