Job Description – bookkeeper
Sort out slips and filing received in preparation of capturing
Pastel accounting processing & Sage one processing till TB
All bank statements including credit card and Petty cash processing
Depreciation calculations
Installment sales line up
Do year-end adjustments for financials and update account managers with feedback for the clients or directly communicate with clients for information
Reconcile & do VAT recon monthly
Follow up with clients on outstanding information properly using correct wording and how to check status on SARS
(last returns filed/what is outstanding with SARS & last work done)
Return client files in return cabinet
Make sure the client folders is in order on PC and in file
PAYE / UIF / VAT filling on SARS
Assist with additional administration as and when required.
