Electrical Engineer (m/f/d)
Your tasks
Seeking alternative network access solutions based on grid studies, including technical, legal and commercial evaluations as part of pre-feasibility studies and technical risk assessment
Interacting with regulatory authorities, grid operators and consultants to optimise grid connections and grid applications for wind, solar and energy storage projects
Representing ABO Wind on industry grid policy committees and working groups, thereby expanding the strategic aims of the company in both jurisdictions
Supporting project development with processes and documents for tendering, engineering, construction, procurement and testing of the electrical balance of plant
Controlling electrical project construction and variation costs during construction phase
Your Profile
You have a degree in Electrical Engineering or an alternative, equivalent level of training/education
You are knowledgeable in current technical guidelines and construction standards of grid connections
You have experience and/or particular interest working in the renewable electricity sector
You have experience with grid capacity studies and you are able to conduct the relevant calculations
You have good interpersonal skills and the ability to cooperate with team members
You are organized, efficient and self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised on tasks
You are willing to travel domestically and to Germany for training as required
You have an aptitude and willingness to learn and progress
You hold a valid driving licence
