Job Description:
Overall Purpose: To attend to customers and deal with enquires on the phone and in-person ensuring that need their needs are met without delay. Supply information regarding the Company to the general public, customers, and clients. Internal customer liaison.
Minimum Skills required:

General Responsibility:
?Reception duties including Administration / Clerical related duties ?Switchboard ?COD Sales ?Petty Cash? Greet and assist persons entering Company in a professional and courteous manner at all times? Manage queries from the customers, clients and resolve, first time? Monitoring persons access and exit to Company premises in regard:
Ensuring customers/suppliers/visitors going into factory area have signed indemnity forms and have appropriate PPE ? Answer switchboard, screen and direct calls? Ensure maintenance of switchboard updating and informing of extensions/ speed dials with correct numbers and contacts including emergency numbers? Take and relay messages in full and timeously ?Provide information to callers, investigate queries refer and/or resolve, first time ?Ensure movement of employee’s in and out of company premises and Admin Area ?Direct incoming and outing faxes / e-mails ?Receipt of and distribution of mail and deliveries ?Assist with COD Sales? Stationary stock control and orders?Control of Company Boardroom Bookings/ Calendar?
Waste Control Administration? Receiving Reports of and Administration of Pest Control?General administrative and clerical support? Achieving departmental goals and budget by anticipating requirements? Company reports are prepared and submitted timeously? Preparing, updating and filing department related documentation timeously? Ensuring Administration requirements are fulfilled? Implementing upon management approval any documentation or SOP’s in accordance to ISO requirements that are required? Monitoring of Housekeeping in Reception and Board room area.
To ensure that the Reception and Boardroom area is clean, hygienic and to company standard for customers/ suppliers/ visitors at all times. ?To ensure that the work/ department area is to company standard and within ISO standards? Adhere to company ISO standards? Adhere to company Policies and Procedures? Adhere to company Health & Safety and Housekeeping

Inherent Requirements
Std 8/Grade 10/NQF 2 or similar qualification Preferred: Qualification or Training: Reception and or Administration. 1 year in a similar reception role, preferably in the packaging industry And or customer-related industry.
