A well-established law firm based in Cape Town CBD is seeking an Office Assistant to join their dynamic team.
Requirements:
Matric/ Grade 12 Certificate
2 to 3 years’ experience as a Receptionist or Admin Assistant
Excellent computer literacy
Well-spoken and presentable
Responsibilities:
Ad hoc office duties
Opening files and bills on the legal accounting system when requested (training will be provided)
Sending the monthly client statements from the primary database
Opening of physical files, printing and collating into folders for the professional staff (training will be provided)
Overseeing the opening of invoices, following up on unpaid invoices upon Marlon’s supervision
Allocating all Sheriffs fees and disbursements onto the legal accounting system (training will be provided)
Keep a good track of all supplier invoices which come in
Ensure all the client queries go to their respectful attorneys or candidate attorneys to answer promptly, to ensure maintenance of good client relations
Reporting to inhouse bookkeeper with the information he requires upon request
Adding mandates onto the Fingo debit order system (training will be provided)
Sending letter of demands prepared by the lawyers at the post office
Calling up office cleaner for services
