Conduct training for social workers, auxiliary social-workers and Victim Empowerment Counselors of our iSIQALO I
Programme accredited by the South African Council of Social Services Professions and iSIQALO II focused on the prevention of gender-based violence.
Attend special cases for psychosocial support when needs arise.
Prepare workshops and delivering materials for our target groups.
Take on a leadership role in respect of the subject and guide our beneficiaries to gain mastery in terms of skills, knowledge and shift of behaviour for rendering services with relevance and effectiveness.
Mark assessment, assess, evaluate and report on beneficiaries’ progress and on their achievements.

Recognize that learning is an active process and be prepared to use a variety of creative methodologies to meet the outcomes of the Valued Citizens Programmes.
Establish a workshop environment which stimulates positive learning (understand the context and culture of the beneficiaries) and actively engages the target groups;
Maintain accurate records of attendance registers to be sent on weekly basis and write reports when requested.
Write partners’ reports, facilitator’s guides and review materials to update training manuals.
Participate in training, supervision and multi-disciplinary team meetings when required.
Attend to meeting with partners and the ecosystems we engage with such as the VEP Forum.
Communicate on monthly basis with the Coordinator and Managing Director about needs, concerns, ideas regarding the Valued Citizens Programmes.

A social work degree (BA MSW or B. Soc. Sci. Degree in Social Work).
At least 2 years’ work experience and facilitation skills to train diverse people.
Current registration with the SACSSP.
Must have driving license and own transport.
Understanding of the articulation of The Children’s Act and Domestic Violence Act.
Must be Bi-lingual, English and another South African Official language
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven track record of good report writing skills.
Must be computer literate.
