Job Description:
• Perform daily routine inspection of the forklift under his/her control and report defects to the warehouse supervisor. • Ensure that the forklift under his or her control is kept clean and in an orderly fashion. • The operator will ensure that all incoming materials are GRN in before been racked. • Pallets to be marked with an A4 label with the below information before been racked: o Product description o Batch number o Expiry date o Quantity o Allergen label if applicable • The operator will rack all incoming materials according to the bin locations assigned by the receiving supervisor. • Operator is responsible to ensure that allergens are controlled in accordance with company allergen procedure. • With the assistance of the picker the operator will be responsible for drawing stock as per the picking slips from the racks and staging them in the dispatch area. • Stacking and storage inspections to be carried out on a monthly basis and report defects to the warehouse supervisor. • Day-to-day organization and hygiene of the warehouse and racking under his control. • The operator is responsible to ensure that any damaged stock is reported to the warehouse supervisor and removed from the racks to the quarantine area. • The forklift operator will also be required to assist with all stock takes and cycle counts. • Ad hoc warehouse duties

Qualifications & Experience
• Matric qualification • Valid Reach Truck license • Literacy in English, both orally and in writing • Mechanical aptitude • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice(GMP) and Food Safety(HACCP)
