Job Description
Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) has an exciting opportunity in our Logistics department. We are looking for talented individual with relevant skills and experience for a Warehouse Layer Picker Operator, which is based at Persevarance. The successful candidate will report directly to the Team Leader: Warehouse. Key Purpose : to execute the layer picking activities within the warehouse according to the issued plan within the required operational efficiency standards.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Key Output : • Ensure compliance to model stock layout for all SKUs • Ensure layers of products are picked on time & accurately in accordance with appropriate picking documentation/information • Care for assets as per standard operational practices • Process Compliance • Comply to housekeeping standards • Achievement of personal operational efficiency standards • Ensure system transactions are accurate & timeous • Comply with relevant stock management processes including counting of inventory daily Key Attributes and Competencies • Warehouse Processes • Warehouse performance measures • Asset care • Transact on system • Communication skills • Utilization of specific assets • Literate & numerate • Self-management • Understanding and awareness of impact each warehouse function on the entire warehouse operations • Understanding and awareness of impact of model stock compliance for fulfill customer orders and associated customer satisfaction • Understanding and awareness of impact of loading all trucks/trailers according to plan on performance and customers (drivers included) • Understanding and awareness of impact of picking operation performance on performance and customers (drivers included) • Understanding and awareness of impact of layer picking operation performance on performance and customers (drivers included) • Understanding of impact of productivity standards on cost • Understanding of personal execution of tasks within context of immediate and broader operations
Skills, Experience & Education
Qualification / Experience : • Matric • 12 months Forklift driving experience would be an advantage • Picking experience would be an advantage • Knowledge of CCBSA brand and packs • Valid Forklift license • Pallet Jack license
