MINIMUM CRITERIA:

· Grade 12

REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES:

· Clean designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, blinds, restroom cleaning etc.).

· Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas so that health standards are met;

· Wash windows and walls when necessary;

· Provide domestic services for residents in their individual units.

– Wash dishes and clean kitchens, cooking utensils, and silverware.

– Vacuum and/or sweep, and mop floors;

· Load washing machines, hang up washing and iron dried linen/clothing

· Sort, count, and mark clean linens/clothing

· Polish silver accessories and metalwork such as fixtures and fittings;

· Dust and polish furniture, blinds and equipment.

· Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
