Job Description:
Xperien, an IT asset disposal company based in Kya Sand is looking for an IT General Worker/Warehouse Assistant to provide an efficient and effective professional service.
Key performance areas
· Offload IT equipment, label, and store on pallets.
· Ensure IT stock is stored efficiently, clearly labelled, and easy to pick when required.
· Specking computers, Laptops, Servers, and other IT equipment.
· Ensure Warehouse, workstation area is tidy, clean at all times.
· Adhere to the SHEQ policy and relevant departmental policies, PPE and PPC.
· Loading of equipment and inventory verification services at client’s premises.
· Ensure the dustbins and waste area is clean at all times and that disposed waste is separated, Plastic with plastic and general waste with general waste.
· Prepare Disposal Report.
· Inform warehouse manager of constraint and challenges in the warehouse/work area.
Preferred Minimum Experience and Education
Experience:
· 2 years’ experience as a General Worker
Qualifications:
· Matric (Grade 12)
· Tertiary qualification in IT (Beneficial)
