Our client based in Edenvale is looking for a Code 14 Stores Driver

· Grade 12 or equivalent qualification

· Minimum Driver’s license Code 14

· Public Driver’s Permit. (Essential)

· Hazchem/dangerous goods Drivers Permit

· Forklift certificate

· 5 – 10 years’ experience in chemical or similar goods transport

· Full Medical Fitness Test Certificate.

· Physically able to perform all the above outcomes.

· Perform Collection & Delivery

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Perform Collection & Delivery

· Assist with daily picking of stock for dispatch/deliveries

· Forklift driving & general stores duties

· Check your vehicle every morning and complete the vehicle checklist in full

· Immediately report any major mechanical defects to your supervisor

· Collect /deliver all chemical and mechanical goods, under the direction of the

· Logistics Assistant and Logistics Lead

· Complete the mileage log book, on a daily basis

· Account for and reconcile all fuel slips, on a monthly basis

· Look after the Company cell phone allocated to you, at all times (If applicable)

· Drive and operate the forklift as per company procedures and standards inclusive of road safety standards (loading) and materials handling standards

Education:

High School (matric) (Preferred)

Experience:

chemical or similar goods transport: 5 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:
