Au Pair/Nanny needed urgently: Salary R7 000 to R10 000 per month

Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 9-6pm + 2x evening babysitting evenings per month

A great family is looking for an AU PAIR or Nanny for their 2 children 3 yrs 10 months and toddler, 18 months

Area in which you live: Rondebosch – between Sandown & Avenue de Mist

Ages of kids: 3 yrs 10 months and toddler, 18 months

Working hours: ~30hrs p/w: 9-6pm, Monday, Wednesday, Friday* + 2x evening babysitting evenings per month

Duties: Our au pair will support our kids in their daily routine, maintaining a warm, loving, stable & stimulating environment for them, mostly while Mum & Dad are working (Dad is full time, Mum 3 days a week 9-6, both from home).

Daily duties: Will include looking after the younger boy for the morning while the older boy is at school. school pick-up (5min drive from our home). Provision of their lunch & post-nap snacks, putting down for afternoon nap / quiet time, nappy-changes as required (& potty-training support when the time comes). Plenty of stimulating playtime at home & some out-of-home excursions like trips to the park, play dates & extra-murals. Where time allows, such as during the boys’ naptime, we’d like our au pair to assist Mum with some household chores – from grocery shopping & local errands to light housework & tidying up toys.

Start Date and contract term: End April – Permanent placement (If available, we’d also suggest some weekly visits prior to start date so we can get to know each other and handover from our current au pair)

Salary: Dependent on skills & experience, R7-10k per month + SARS rates per km.

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

**** Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
****Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
****Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
****Must have a clear criminal record
****Must have a passion for children
****Must have Matric
****Must have a South African ID document.
