Full Job Description:

Join our Client Dispatch department with the main responsibilities to ensure all damaged cartons are exchanged on a daily basis to ensure that stock is rotated as well as to ensure that loads are loaded according to the days loading schedule. Successful candidates need to have at least 2 year’s experiences within FMCG environment and must have complete basic dairy course and knowledge of products. Must be able to demonstrate sound knowledge of food quality and full adherence to all Safety & Health policies, procedures and legislation. Be fluent in English and be computer literate.

Duties And Responsibilities:

FIFO, but no short-dated stock loading
Highlighting any quality issues of stock whilst preparing the loads
Scanning of stock into the physical location.
Weighing the stock
The correct stock is loaded onto the correct vehicle
Weigh pallet & record information per pallet on the pickslip

Ensure that pallets are stored correctly (product by product)

Ensure that all damage cartons are exchanged on a daily basis to ensure that stock is rotated.
Inspect pallet for any problems before putting into racks or loading onto trucks.

Pick loads according to the days loading schedule to ensure that loads can be loaded within 1.5 hours.

Ensure that the cheese packaging and the store complies with the quality and hygiene at all times.
Completing of truck inspection forms.
Ensure FIFO is applied.( To ensure that products are loaded according to oldest stock first within spec)
Guide forklift driver when putting away or loading pallets.
Ensure daily housekeeping
Safe working procedures

Qualifications And Experience:

Grade 12 or equivalent, including mathematics
At least 2 year’s experiences in a distribution environment
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to work shifts, overtime and weekends as per operational requirements.
Must be a team player
Must be medically fit in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety requirements
Knowledge of products
Understanding of outbound activities
PC Literate (Minimum: Windows, email, excel)
Diligence and accuracy in daily functions
Punctuality and attendance reliability
Must be a team player

Willing to perform Ad hoc tasks.
