The Role:
Kempe Engineering is currently seeking to employ Hydraulic / Fluid Power Technicians to work in the mining industry in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. As part of this role you will be expected to work on client mine sites doing maintenance and sustainable capital works on fixed plant.
Skills:
Using testing equipment to diagnose, repair and maintain fluid power components and systems
Fault diagnosing and preforming operational maintenance, overhauling, repairing mechanical parts and fluid power equipment
Diagnose and recommend solutions to fluid power and engineering problems
Accurately and effectively identify and repair fluid power components such as pumps, cylinders, valves, reservoirs, motors, accumulators, hose fittings and filters
Safely, effectively and accurately perform all types of maintenance on fluid power equipment to a high standard
Read and interpret hydraulic schematics
Tube and pipe installation experience preferred (not essential)
Competent in TIG and MIG welding
Qualifications & Experience:
Recognized trade qualification in Fitting or equivalent, with high level of hydraulic technical experience
Fluid power post-trade training or relevant industry experience
Minimum of 5 years’ experience working on sites either heavy industry or mining
Meet ZERO Harm culture and behavior’s
Will be required to live in remote regions
Experience in leadership Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment medical and present fit for work
Experience in hydraulic hose assemblies, tube manufacture and installation
A current driver license
All suitably qualified and experience candidates will be considered, Kempe Engineering will also consider sponsoring applicants under the TSS-482 or 494 Visa sponsorship program or visa transfer. Salary range will be between AUD $ 85,000 and AUD $105,000.
