Job Advert Summary

We are looking for an experienced and professional Skidsteer Driver/Operator to join our team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate should be hardworking, punctual, and be a team player. The Skidsteer Driver will be responsible for the offloading and transportation of material around the abattoir and the feed mill site.

Minimum Requirements:

Grade 10

Valid Skidsteer certificate

±2 years experience

Good verbal and written communication skills

Good physical condition

Attention to detail

Ability to operate and control equipment

Ability to work well with others

Duties and Responsibilities:

Safely moving around bulk raw materials.

General duties as prescribed by department head or supervisor.

Complete the daily checklist form.

Report to supervisor any requirements for maintenance or repairs.

Following written instructions and keeping records.

Adhering to health and safety regulations.

Operating the skidsteer in a safe and effective manner in order to minimize the risk of injury, property damage or loss of life.

Understanding of health and safety.

Operate skidsteer according to load specifications.
