Handbag Maker Grade A3 / Machinist needed urgently: Salary R7 350 per month

Assembles leather bags by performing the following duties:

Preparation of bags, including but not limited to:

Folding and applying adhesive to cut panels
Trimming edges of cut panels
Using a marking pen to mark where stitch lines should be made
Assembly of Rowdy bags using sewing machine

Finishing of Rowdy bags, including but not limited to:

Cleaning marking pen off leather
Using a lighter, clipper or scissors to remove loose threads
Adding price tags to bags, in correct placement and order
Cooperate with other members of the Rowdy team in order to achieve faster production, higher quality, lower waste and improved levels of safety in the Rowdy factory.

Cooperate with other members of the Rowdy team, including but not limited to the product designer and operations manager, in order to assist with the development of new designs, new patterns, improved production methods, and input on any other production-related matters.

Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
