Job Title: Psychologist (Relocate to Ireland)
We are looking to recruit senior or staff grade Psychologist with experience in children complex needs to work with our Intellectual Disability health care client in Dublin South, Ireland.
Financial relocation Packages available to all applicants contributing towards: Accommodation allowance for initial 3 months, One way flight to Ireland, Registration cost for Department of Health and PSI, Critical Skills Visa fees.
Essential Criteria
- Hold a minimum QQI Level 8 qualification in Psychology.
- Have a post-graduate qualification in clinical, counselling, or educational psychology or an equivalent qualification (this will get validated by the Department of Health in Ireland)
- A minimum of 1 to 5 year’s experience in clinical psychology inclusive of time spent in pursuing a course leading to the postgraduate qualification.
- Experience of working with children with complex needs.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and strong command of English
- Qualifications for this position obtained outside of the Republic of Ireland must be validated at the time of application. Application for this post must be inclusive of letter of validation.
Clinical Duties:
- Work as a member of an Interdisciplinary Team
- Work within limits of professional competence in line with principles of best practice, professional conduct, and clinical governance.
- Formulate and implement plans for psychological therapeutic intervention or management based on an appropriate conceptual framework, working in home and clinical settings as appropriate.
- To undertake assessment, therapy, appropriate interventions, and preventative programmes in accordance with the professional competence of clinical psychologists.
- Engage in the education of colleagues, student Psychologists, Service Users, and other health care professionals.
- Have a working knowledge of the Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) Standards and Guidance as they apply to the role.
