Junior Electrical Draughtsman needed urgently: Salary R20 000 per month

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Junior Electrical Draughtsman.

Responsibilities:

Create detailed electrical drawings and schematics based on project specifications and requirements.
Collaborate with engineers and other team members to understand project goals and technical details.
Assist in the preparation of electrical layout plans, wiring diagrams, and other technical documentation.
Utilize computer-aided design (AUTOCAD) software to produce accurate and efficient drawings.
Review and modify existing drawings to incorporate design changes or updates.
Ensure that all drawings adhere to industry standards, codes, and regulations.
Collaborate with the project team to address design issues and provide solutions.
Assist in the preparation of material lists and cost estimates.
Maintain organized documentation of all drawings and project files.

Qualifications and Experience:

Formal qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Design, or related field.
Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD or similar tools.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting electrical drawings.
Basic understanding of electrical principles and systems.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work under supervision and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and design standards.
Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Familiarity with relevant electrical codes and standards.
Knowledge of MS Office is a plus.
