Summary of the role:

The Four & Twenty Cafe is a shared workspace for creative businesses, featuring co-working offices & desks with a restaurant, bar, cinema, gym, and event space.

We are seeking an excellent and outgoing member of floor staff to join the team. Candidates must possess in-depth knowledge about Food and Beverage in addition to superior customer relations skills and be open to working in all areas of the business.

The new team member will be expected to be open to learning and working on the floor, bar, coffee and deli section as well as in other areas if the business as required.

Key responsibilities:

Welcoming customers when they arrive
Answering questions about menu items, ingredients, pricing and allergies
Preparing and serving drinks, including hot beverages
Restocking and refreshing the deli
Table maintenance and general upkeep of building cleanliness
Processing credit card payments
Setting meeting rooms

Person specification:

Previous experience in either the hospitality industry or a bar/restaurant, in a similar role
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Outgoing personality
Ability to respond positively to a pressurized environment and adopt a positive approach to problem-solving
Good presentation skills
Ability to communicate well with all levels of staff and members of the public
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays as required
You will be contracted for a minimum of 16 hours per week and there may be the opportunity to pick up more shifts depending on availability.
