Accounting firm is looking to appoint a highly motivated and accomplished individual that sets high standards to the quality of work, are technically competent and have a great interpersonal and communication skills. We are an accounting practice specialising in Accounting, Payroll, Taxation and Implementation of accounting automation etc. We use the latest Accounting tools available and give our clients the best service assisting them quick and efficiently.

The successful applicant will join the company in a central role and manage a portfolio of clients that consists of accounting, payroll processing, taxation and administration.

Key Areas of responsibility will include:

Accounting processing
Payroll Processing
Statutory Submissions
Taxation
Examine, analyse and interpret accounting records to prepare and sign financial statements
Review/Prepare financial statements, management accounts together with accounting/tax files.
Responsible to ensure quality of client work
Issuing and reviewing of all related Billings.

To Qualify you will need

Five Years Experience in the accounting profession
Member of a recognised professional body in the accounting profession.
Registered commissioner of oath or able to register
Able to perform all the duties as noted above and monitor/supervise the work performance of staff members.
Needs to be a registered tax practitioner.
Must demonstrate personal and time management skills in order to ensure deadlines are met.
High technical Ability (IFRS, Companies Act, Personal Income tax, Provisional Tax)
Experience in Pastel Accounting and Payroll
Experience in cloud accounting software e.g Sage One and Xero would be an advantage.
Fluent in English & Afrikaans
