The Health M&E Advisor position is based in Mbabane, Swaziland. – 3 Year project
Principal responsibility for providing technical expertise and management oversight for all project information needs.

Southern African / USAID in-country work experience,
Currently based in Southern Africa, preferably ESwatini

A strong portfolio of M&E and SI experience in the Health sector including working with Health information systems
Data management and analysis experience, including intermediate R/Python
More than 4 years of advanced skills in Tableau and Power BI
Experience in creating data visualizations and supporting the use of data in practice;
Experience in conducting training and providing M&E technical support;
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, facilitation, mentoring and training skills and experience;
Post-graduate qualifications covering relevant aspects of M&E, data management, health information systems, program evaluation, and data analysis will be an advantage;
Southern African in-country work experience
M&E
· Perform routine Monitoring and evaluation activities
· Work closely with the MoH on activities that pertain to Data Demand and Information Use
· Participate in Routine Data Quality Assessments RDQA of electronic records on the CMIS
· Participate, conduct or lead M&E and Dashboard capacity building activities
Dashboard design and development
· Working very closely with the M&E team to build and maintain a library of indicators, driven from the CMIS platform and hosted within the M&E dashboards;
· Validate and verify indicators are generated within the M&E dashboards dashboard correctly, across the datasets and throughout the range of mapped, charted and graphed visualizations
· Working closely with the M&E team to develop visualization techniques that convey housing market understanding in compelling, innovative and accurate ways. E.g. infographics etc.
· Work with the Senior M&E Advisor and the MoH as needed and to meet with stakeholders to explore dashboard and indicator needs, visualizations requirements or preferences, and other deliverables
Dashboard Management& Maintenance
· Maintain a standard dashboard using standard indicators and indicator definitions as currently defined.
· With the data manager, ensure the dashboard’s seamless integration and constant connectivity to the CMIS;
· Identify common requests and build new dashboards and indicators as directed by the Senior M&E advisor or requested by MoH;
· Analyze results constantly for accuracy and consistency, applicability to the health sector, and effectiveness at communicating understanding;
· Extract images, data extracts and other exports from the dashboard as requested for standard reports, stakeholder deliverables, and public dissemination;
· Ensure data extracts and updates are imported with ease, accuracy, and consistency
· Working closely with the M&E Team, explore new datasets for adaptability to existing M&E dashboards, relevance to the health sector, innovativeness, replicability and ease of use;
· Maintain exposure and familiarity with emerging dashboard and data visualization tools and technologies
· Provide stakeholders with dashboard technical support;
· Deliver data analysis as per requests from key stakeholders
