Qualification(s):
Relevant Engineering Degree, i.e. BSc Electrical Engineering or BTech or S4/N6 Diploma
Working towards Government Certificate of Competence (Electrical, Factories) an advantage
Experience:
5 Years’ in Electrical Maintenance Management Post Qualification
Skills and Competencies
Extensive Customer Liaison/Commercial Negotiation Skills
Computer Skills in MS Word, Excel, SAP Plant Maintenance
Report Writing
Knowledge:
Experience and Knowledge of the OHSA, Electrical Installation Regulations and Electrical Machinery Regulations and SANS 10142 Code of Practice for Wiring of Premises
Experience and Knowledge of ISO Quality Management System
Project Management Principles
Knowledge of LV, MV, HV/HT Cable Terminations
Knowledge of Design and Construction of Transmission and Distribution Lines
Knowledge of Substation Designs and Upgrades (Transmission and Distribution)
Knowledge of Technical Drawing Software(Auto-CAD), drawing interpretation and other simulation software (FEM)
Attributes:
Sound Communication, Negotiation, Organisational, Financial Skills
Above-average Interpersonal/Communication/Organisational and Managerial Skills
Be registered with ECSA as a Professional Electrical Engineer/Technologist
