A company based in Boksburg is looking for an External Sales Representative from the Packaging Equipment industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling high value production line equipment for the food and beverage industry. We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated individual with a proven track record in sales and must be familiar with fillers, cappers, sleevers, unscramblers, etc relative to the industry.

This person should have a strong sales background and be at a senior level. Minimum 10 years successful field sales experience, selling to industry. Technical knowledge required, but only to a level of understanding industrial equipment. This person’s main responsibility will be bringing in new clients and growing the area allocated to them. Must have own reliable transport as a large amount of local travel is required.

Work environment will be mainly manufacturing plants, factories and packaging plants. Matric is the minimum educational requirement, a commerce, marketing or related qualification would be strongly advantageous. Computer literacy and good administrative skills are required. Fluent in spoken and written English and Afrikaans. This is not a commission-based position but a basic salary is offered at R556K CTC per annum which includes + guaranteed 13th cheque + travel allowance + company fuel + Medical Aid + Pension Fund + laptop + cell phone.
