Employer: Hotel & Catering Personnel

To perform general maintenance duties and checks in and around the Hotel as per the Maintenance plan of the hotel and as per the décor standards a set out by the owners.
To ensure that all paint and consumables are used in an efficient manner keeping wastage to a minimum in accordance with Hotel SOPs.
To maintain all areas in a clean, tidy and neat manner, presentable to guests.
When needed to assist the Handymen with general maintenance in and around the Hotel including tiling and plastering.

Candidate Requirements:
Grade 12.
At least 2 years’ experience as a handyman
Basic electrical, carpentry and painting experience
Previous painting experience advantageous

Previous work in a Hotel environment advantageous
Must be able to work flexible hours including week-end, public holidays, night shifts
Presentable and well-mannered
Good command of the English language
This position reports to Maintenance Manager
