Warehouse Outbound Clerk urgently needed: Salary R8 000 per month

Warehouse Outbound Clerk will be responsible to management of the outbound logistics functions, including but not limited to picking & packing of orders, local deliveries, national deliveries, collections, 3rdparty couriers & exports.

Duties

Plan and schedule department functions to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of products meeting customer expectations and requirements through efficient utilisation of personnel and facilities.
Develop and implement specific objectives and performance measures for each functional area and individuals to improve performance.
Ensure that operating expenses are kept at a minimum.
Coach, mentor, develop and train direct reports.
Ensures compliance with company and government policies and regulations (e.g. OHSA)
Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, such as customer sales, order management, accounting and shipping.

Experience and Education

Matric coupled with work experience.
Business acumen and good understanding of business processes and functions
Experience with a comprehensive WMS and WMS driven processes
Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
Good interpersonal, negotiation, customer relations and resources management skills
Customer service, quality and productivity focused
Computer literate (SAP, excel, word and relevant WMS)
Identifies problems and implements solution
Must be deadline driven and be able to work towards established deadlines
Drivers License
Valid First Aid Certificate
OHSA trained
Forklift Certification (Highly beneficial)

Salary: R8,000.00 /month

Experience:

Warehouse Outbound: 3 years (Preferred)
WMS and WMS driven processes: 2 years (Preferred)

Education:

High School (matric) (Preferred)
