Duties & Responsibilities

Operating Electrically Operated Over Head Cranes of Higher Capacity
Handling 35 Ton High-Temperature Liquid Steel in Ladle
Refurnace the liquid metal into the furnace in a controlled manner
Tilting the Ladle for De-slagging and Lance cleaning
Tilting and Handling Tundish and Ladle activity with crane
Erection/Removal/Fitting of heavy-duty machines using the cranes with precise operational ability and control
Continuous Scrap lifting to the furnace floor;
Identifying the break downs and informing to maintenance departments and Safe Work Practices

Qualifications:

Matric
Crane Licence
Communication skills
