FULL-TIME GRAPHIC DESIGNER/PRINT TECHNICIAN/ESTIMATOR POSITION OFFERED IN STELLENBOSCH.
We are a fast-paced international printing franchise, based in Somerset West, Paarl and Stellenbosch. Our Stellenbosch branch requires a graphic designer to process jobs from quoting to delivery. The successful candidate will also serve counter customers and deal with customers on the telephone.
This position is ideal for a designer with extensive print industry knowledge, including estimating and print production.
The ideal candidate must be well spoken and be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Requirements:
Computer literate
Good knowledge of the print process, including print finishing
Good knowledge of print estimating
Proficiency in CorelDraw and Adobe Creative Suite
Personal Skills/Attributes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Willing to work in a team environment
Willingness to follow systems and procedures
Work well under pressure
Preferably bilingual – English and Afrikaans
The successful candidate will report directly to management and the owners. Training with respect to our in-house software and systems will be provided. Working hours are 0800 – 1700, Monday to Friday.
A competitive salary, commensurate with experience, will be offered.
