PURPOSE OF JOB:
To co-ordinate analytical and quality control service to the factory through the analysis and inspection of incoming chemicals and packing materials, In-process samples and finished product. This includes the non-routine analysis. To assist production in meeting their daily quality objectives, minimizing both product wastage, and quantities of sub-standard material leaving the factory. To ensure that Quality and Safety Standards are not compromised.
MINIMUM TRAINING, QUALIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
· Degree or BTech in a chemistry discipline
· At least two (2) years relevant experience is required (preferably manufacturing of Cleaning Chemicals)
· Knowledge of quality and production processes is desirable.
Must be computer literate with knowledge of Quality Management, Laboratory and SHE systems (e.g. ISO 9001).
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS AND TASKS
Assist in QC stability testing, prepare and maintain stability records and summaries.
Involve in training and transfer of methods to and from QC and contract manufacturers as assigned.
Modify and validate analytical procedures to meet QC’s needs.
Support design and development of experimental protocols, SOP’s, etc.,
Participate in special projects and department meetings via input, feedback, and execution of assigned tasks.
Execute special projects on analytical and instrument problem-solving.
Conduct all quality QC chemical tests.
Adapt, maintain and operate analytical instrumentation.
Involve in procedure review and propose modifications and updates.
Ensure the work environment is clean and safe complying with safety regulations and laboratory safety.
Conduct various analytical testing procedures as per manufacturing/QC SOP
