RECRUITMENT FUNDI is seeking a Handyman to join this team of professionals.

Job Summary:

This position requires a technically focused, detail orientated team player who can operate under pressure to assist the Hotel Handymen and Painters with general painting and maintenance tasks

Minimum Experience or Qualification:

Grade 12
At least 2 years’ experience as a handyman
Basic electrical, carpentry and painting experience
Previous painting experience advantageous
Previous work in a Hotel environment advantageous
Must be able to work flexible hours including weekend, public holidays, night shifts
Presentable and well-mannered
Good command of the English language

Key Performance Objectives:

To perform general maintenance duties & checks in and around the Hotel as per the Maintenance plan of the hotel and as per the décor standards a set-out
To ensure that all paint and consumables are used in an efficient manner keeping wastage to a minimum in accordance with Hotel SOPs
To maintain all areas in a clean, tidy and neat manner, presentable to guests
When needed to assist the Handymen with general maintenance in and around the Hotel including tiling and plastering
