The IIE’s Varsity College has two vacancies for ACADEMIC OPERATIONS ADMINISTRATOR (AOA)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Customer Support
Assists students, lecturers and parents with academic queries
Captures communication with students on SAM
Timetabling, Registers & Attendance
Captures timetables on CAMS
Prints registers for Lecturers
Captures attendance on request
Files registers correctly
Assessments & Results
Assists the AOC with development and distribution of all academic reports in accordance with IIE policies
Accurate capturing of all students results onto the system for Academic management
Co-ordinates the Moderation process once an assessment has been returned from marking
Facilitates processing of ICE task marking
General Administration
Assists the AOC with development and distribution of all academic reports in accordance with IIE policies
Managing issuing of learning material
Data capturing for lecturer reviews
Performs classroom checks
Team Support
Training support to any new AOAs
Performs reception duties when required
Assiting with campus specific projects/events (Graduation, Open Day etc.)
Competencies:
Interpersonal and communications skills
Computer skills
Best suited to a friendly, organised person who works accurately and is able to handle the pressure
Best suited to a systematic person with an eye for detail
Excellent organizational and administration skills
Education:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: Minimum of Matric. Relevant 3-year Diploma or Degree advantageous
Work Experience:
Minimum Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience
