KZN’s largest Vodacom Retail Franchisee is looking for a Dynamic HR Administrator/ Recruiter with exceptional people skills to support there Human Resources department at there head offices situated in Montclair. You will act as the first point of contact for all HR- related queries from all employees(150).

Your administrative duties include maintaining personal records, managing HR documents (e.g. employment records and on boarding guides) and updating internal databases. The ideal candidate must have experience with HR procedures and can juggle various administrative and recruitment tasks in a timely manner.

Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our HR department supports our employees while conforming to labour laws.

Responsibilities:

Organize and maintain personnel records

Creating and maintaining personal files for all employees

Update internal databases (e.g. leave, late coming, uniforms, punctuality etc)

Recruiting of Staff with experience in using all methods of onboarding

The ability to understand and to interpret body language can help you to pick up on unspoken issues, problems or negative feelings that other people might have.

Abide by all checks before on boarding

Prepare HR documents, like employment contracts, Inductions packs and other onbording documents

Manage and maintain Uniforms, badges with vendors

Revise, maintain and implement new company policies

Revise and maintain KPI’s

Liaise with external partners, Time/Telephone management, insurance vendors when needed

Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics ( e.g. late coming, punctuality, telephone usage, staff turnover and probations etc)

Answer employees queries about all HR related issues

Assist payroll person by providing relevant employee information (e.g. leave, absence, overtime, deductions, loans etc)

Assist recruitment with telephonic interviews, inductions, training coordination etc

Assist in accessing candidates for positions as well as screening and clearance

Manage all employees sign on documents and explaining

Assist with monthly Appraisals, print certificates, and stats for management

Manage all Staff messages (e.g. birthdays, religious holidays, Anniversary, performance stats etc)

Assist and manage all HR meetings e.g., probations reviews and letters etc

Manage group time management daily

Manage and auditing of telephone management systems daily

General Training on equipment for head office staff (copier, health and safety)

Updating all Staff Development groups daily

Creating access on Various systems for all new Staff and deleting on exit timelessly

Processing off acceptance of resignation or terminations letters

Preparing exits and conducting all exit interviews timelessly

Archiving of completed Termination packs

Arranging labour relations issues (disciplinary enquiries, hearings, grievances etc)

Assisting is posting and managing job adverts

Manage group staff rosters

Design job descriptions and interview questions and reflect each positions requirements

Tracking of management motor vehicle (10) with weekly reporting on abuse and violations

Requirements:

Proven work experience as HR Administrator and recruitment or relevant role as per above so that can improve and Implement strong HR systems and processes

Experience with HR software (e.g..sage ESS, Trac Tec time management system, ITC etc )

Computer literacy (Advanced Excel, Power point, Out look etc )

Tech-savvy and ability to learn Time management software easily

Thorough knowledge of labour laws

Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects

Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills

BS in Human resources or relevant field

Teamwork skills

Familiarity with social media, resume database and networks

Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Ability to learn and have an understanding of the differences between various roles within Organization

Honest and Trustworthy and willing to go the extra mile

Experience in retail time management and rostering

Tenacious/ persistent personality

Details:

Monday to Friday 8 to 5pm – Saturdays 8- 1pm – Must be flexible as recruitment may require interviews at odd times

Basic salary with RA of 10% of salary after 1-year service

Standard leave rules apply

Must have own Transport

Salary negotiable based on experience
