TWK Agri has the following vacancy available: Agricultural Specialist within the Enterprise Development Department at Piet Retief, Mpumalanga.

Responsibilities and Duties

Assisting emerging grain farmers with technical expertise, mentorship, business development services, access to correct inputs, mechanisation (e.g. calibration) and markets

Qualifications and Skills

Matric/Grade 12

Grain farming experience

Practical farming experience, either as farm manager / retired farmer

Computer literate

Driver’s licence

Local knowledge/experience of Mpumalanga/KZN (advantageous)

Further farming experience in livestock/forestry/vegetable/poultry (advantageous)

Financial, administration and reporting skills

Be able to report and document activities professionally

Be able to compile budgets, business plans and report against them

Able to communicate fluently in isiZulu and English

Ability to work within set framework and deadlines
