Au Pair required immediately: Salary R7 250 per month
A family requires an Au Pair for their son aged 12, daughter aged 11 and twins aged 9
Working Hours: Monday – Friday: 13h30 – 18h00
Job description: THERE IS A SECOND AU PAIR THAT YOU WILL WORK ALONG WITH. ONE AU PAIR GETS THE 12 AND 11-YEAR-OLD AND THE OTHER GETS THE TWINS. Assist with homework, project, test and exam preparation; Transport children from to and from sport and extra murals; Prepare and feed children their meals; Oversee and manage playdates with other children; Transport children to doctors or any other appointments; Assist them with and oversee bath time; Assist with teaching them appropriate behaviour and table manners; Keep play rooms neat and tidy and assist with teaching the children to tidy up after themselves; Occasional Babysitting by prior arrangement; Weekend assistance with the children by prior arrangement (don’t foresee more than 2-3 a year); Accompany children on outings; Proactive communication with parents; Ad hoc errands; Be responsible for the acquisition of household groceries, cleaning materials, dog food, medicines and other items when requested; Feeding the dogs; Be responsible for domestic chores requested by us such as dropping off dry-cleaning, receiving deliveries at home, keeping kids laptops and devices up to date, stationary shopping, kids clothes/sports equipment etc; being responsible for certain household admin and tasks, such as sorting out issues on Telkom and Eskom bills, renewing car licenses, paying utility bills etc; assisting with the house and dogs while the family is away on holiday, and other tasks as may be agreed from time to time.
Salary: R7250 per month plus petrol
Start Date: ASAP
All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:
**** Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
****Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
****Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
****Must have a clear criminal record
****Must have a passion for children
****Must have Matric
****Must have a South African ID document.
