Mid-Level Bookkeeper wanted immediately: Salary R12 000 to R18 000 per month

Our client is looking for a mid-level bookkeeper to assist with a wide variety of financial functions in the group, and who will report into the group financial manager.

The role entails bookkeeping to trial balance for a number of separate companies that form part of the bigger group.

Primary Functions:

General bookkeeping capturing
Bank reconciliation and debtors
Creditors clerk functions
Capturing transactions on the electronic accounting system
Cashbook and journal processing
Supplier invoice processing
Customer invoice processing
Debit order loading and collection
Supplier payment processing
Reconciling all balance sheet accounts at month-end
Reconciling system reports
Ad hoc project work
Overseeing certain administrative functions within the office (ad hoc)
Payroll administration and processing
Assisting the collections department with ad hoc functions
Weekly account recons

Skills Required:

Detailed orientated
Focused
Ability to work with multiple companies within the group
Strong experience working on Pastel Evolution / Xero Accounting (or both preferably)
Strong experience on Pastel Payroll
Experience on the Standard Bank Business online platform is advantageous

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: R12,000.00 to R18,000.00 /month
