Our client wishes to appoint a Brand Manager responsible for leading the commercial development and strategic direction for their products in the Southern Africa Cluster of Countries.
Minimum requirements for the role:
Tertiary Qualification in Sales and Marketing or Science or related is essential.
Previous experience having worked in a Pharmaceutical Marketing role or similar within the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
Proven track record in marketing across the lifecycle of brands is essential.
Previous Launch experience within sales or marketing would be advantageous.
Must be bilingual in English and Portuguese.
Previous experience in both specialty and general medicine would be advantageous.
Willing to travel.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Overseeing and developing brand plans and (pre) launch plans for the portfolio.
Seeking in-market, patient and customers insights to inform brand strategy.
Managing the yearly operational brand plan with Medical to deliver impactful brand strategies.
Leading a cross functional Brand Team and providing a directive on portfolio-specific training and upskilling needs of the Representatives.
Ensuring all activities and promotional materials comply with all laws and regulations and internal guidelines.
Overseeing the submission of demand forecast, aligning with sales on the projections and maintaining a high level of forecast accuracy.
Managing and communicating quality complaints.
Setting clear and competitive strategies for the portfolio thereby ensuring patient access.
Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience.
