Butchery Operations Manager needed Urgently: Salary R35 000.00 – R45 000.00 Per Month.

Ensure that budgeted Sales, GP, Expense and Profitability targets are met.
Day-to-day operational oversight of butcheries, including the design and implementation of operational controls.
Ensure that stock losses are minimized and kept within budget
Day-to-day monitoring of sales, GP’s and stock losses, with follow up where required.
Day-to-day management of Store Managers/Area Managers, to achieve targets.
Procurement of stock.
Managing and measuring financial performance all retail stores and coming up with strategies to boost their performance.
Arranging promotional activities or stock with suppliers and ensuring effective implementation of promotions at the retail stores.
Liaise with service providers and Store Managers regarding weekly marketing and ensuring implementation at retail stores.
Managing and ensuring customer service training is done on a regular basis and ensuring that all policies and procedures applicable to customer service are adhered to at all times and following up any deviations with disciplinary action, as well as corrective measures to ensure no such behaviour occurs again.
Performing Store pricing and ensuring prices at the stores are correct, price displays are correct and visible and price controls.
Managing and engaging store supervisors and managers. This includes ensuring that disciplinary action and all human resource policies and procedures are adhered to at all times at the retail stores.
Managing and ensuring retail stores adhere to stock control procedures, rotation, ordering, buying, goods receiving ensuring that all policies and procedures at all times and following up any deviations with the appropriate disciplinary action. This includes the following up of any stock count variances and assisting with their resolution in whatever way necessary to bring the variance to within budget.
Ensuring adherence at all stores to the company’s production, cutting, block test and recipe controls.
Managing and ensuring adherence store hygiene.
To coordinate staff training and development in correspondence with the Human Resources.
Managing and liaising with service providers and technicians regarding plant and equipment repairs & maintenance, including store repairs.
Managing and overseeing all retail stores security.
Monthly competitor analysis and butchery performance reporting.
butchery : 5 to 6 years
butchery management : 3 to 4 years
At least 5 years’ experience of working in butcheries.
At least 3 years Managerial experience in butcheries.
Must be competent in calculating selling prices and corresponding GP’s.
Must be computer literate.
