We are currently looking for a Catering Manager to be responsible for monitoring the quality of the food, service and making sure that the unit perform well. Duties & Responsibilities:
• Support the Project Manager in maintaining operational controls in line within budgetary requirements • Lead & motivate a team of staff • Train and develop team of staff members • Ensure quality of food preparation, presentation and service is up to Fedics Standards • Proactively Manage the LTL & OSHACT compliance of this unit • Manage the Preventative Maintenance programs/Star Grading • Ensure that tills and Cash Ups are running smoothly • Ensure all Fedics policies and procedures are complied with • Daily HR and IR issues • Liaise with clients on a daily basis and oversee customer service • Responsible for all functions • Management of all administration, finances, debtors, budgets, etc. • Organise, prepare & co-ordinate upmarket functions • Process the Fedics paperwork • Compile & understand weekly & monthly P & L • Relationship building with the client and customers on a daily basis (absolutely essential) • Ensure purchasing & sales controls are in place & working • Excellent food skills • Must be able to work long hours and over weekends should there be a need

Skills and Competencies:
• Strong judgement and problem-solving skills • Strong interpersonal and communicative skills (verbal and written) • Flexibility with regards to working hours • Excellent people skills • Attention to detail • Client service orientated • Business Management principles • Fully computer literate • Excellent food /Chef skills and background

Qualifications:
Min of 5 years Management experience essential My Market and Menutec Essential Must be strong in functions and administration Must have drivers’ license, own transport.
