About the role
Manage the day to day activities required to enable and activate the unmanaged reseller base of Mimecast South Africa. This is done through activating and managing the unmanaged partner base, attending to the less than 50 seat existing customers and enabling them on our platform to identify possible upsell potential. A final function would be to support and book the under 50 seat new business orders.
Reporting to the Channel Operations Manager, this role will also effort to internally support the channel and sales organisations with program, compliance, systems, education and key metric reporting in effort of scale across the channel eco system.

Partner portal: support; training and management

Partner agreement management
Customers & Prospects below 50 seats (+2000) reactive and program driven
Upsell – Product
New business quotes, value proposition and partner support
Internal Sales Support
Internal quote support
Netsuite management, leads, opportunities and prospects
Sub 50 seat new and upsell business deal management
On orders placed through Partner and MSP Portals
Internal Channel Team support
Supporting the Channel organisation with Sales and Technical training events and administration (Portal access, Academy access, CRM updates).
Keep contact details up to date, do regular reporting and ensure all partners are adhering to their partner program requirements.
Description, maintenance and reporting for Channel and promotion activities
Maintain a library of assets to support the Channel team.
Provide support to the sales team and Partner Account Management team in respect of the following:
Centralising Customer Agreements; Partner Agreements
Template and database management
Essential Skills and Experience:
Within this corporate IT environment, you will be required to have:
Be able to work programmatically and efficiently tackle tasks
Competent on Excel, word, power point
Build and maintain reports to surface key information.
Understand what the sales process is and how to close a sale.
Clearly articulate and explain the value and benefits of our solution to partners and clients.
Strong understanding of customer experience and how to delight customers.
Demonstrate a clear ability to engage and build trust with partners.
Work in a structured and organized fashion to achieve your goals.
Work with large amounts of data in a structured manner to gather information.
