Ensure all customers’ tickets are scanned and the customers are directed to the appropriate cinema whilst enforcing access control around policies and procedures to ensure the safety of our patrons.
Matric (Grade 12)
Up to 1 years’ work experience (relevant)
MAIN OUTPUTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Cordially welcome Customers
Initiate conversation with customers about movies
Scan tickets and call out the cinema number and seat numbers to customers
Review age restrictions and inform customers of the reasons for the age restriction
Maintain an up to date knowledge of products offered at the cinema (movie content, catering, formats, age restrictions) as well as promotional / marketing activities
Direct and assist customers as required
Listen to guest comments or complaints, referring customers to managers as necessary.
Manage the quality and integrity of Ster-Kinekor products
Implement continuous improvements in customer service within the department
Drive customer service and relations in line with quality and performance standards.
Ensure efficient shift preparation
Ensure equipment functionality and report any concerns to the departmental manager in a timely manner
Ensure cinema readiness prior to allowing entry into cinemas
Enforce company policies in a firm but courteous manner (age restrictions, food policy)
Engage with customers as they exit the cinema in order to get feedback on their experience and invite them back.
