CA with 2-4 years PQE experience
Desired Knowledge / Experience & Behaviour:
Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar industry (construction / project based);
Must be able to handle pressure and work effectively as part of a diverse team;
Able to communicate effectively across all levels, both verbally and in writing;
Good problem solving and people skills;
Computer literate – MS Office, Sun Systems and previous SAP experience will be advantageous;
Understanding of general BBBEE requirements as applied to employees, suppliers, training, etc. in corporate environments.This will assist in understanding the unique economic development responsibilities as defined for the company
Able to successfully deliver in a nascent environment whilst retaining the willingness to be involved in building infrastructure to support delivery.
Finance point of contact and business partner for ED.
Take overall responsibility of all financial issues of ED.
Manage the controlling and finance reporting of ED in accordance with internal control rules.
Financial review of ED submissions prior to delivery.
Owner of the business plan (BP) including continual maintenance, updating, scenario planning and evaluation
Review of ED spend versus BP / budget / forecast.
Support the ED Director and other ED functions as a finance business partner.
Have a clear understanding of ED documents and systems and actively manage any financial implications arising.
Provide support for the correct risk and opportunity recognition, valuation, sharing and associated reporting.
In support of the FD, preparation of stakeholder presentations as required
Financial supplier vetting from an initial on-boarding , continual monitoring and risk management perspective.
Other ad-hoc duties as required.
