To perform repairs and maintenance on equipment in the plant to ensure optimum availability and efficiency

Qualifications & Expertise

Minimum Matric
N3 plus Trade Tested Electrician
Wiremans License/Installation Rules will be an advantage
Recognition for prior learning will be considered/given

Competencies

Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and without supervision – accurately and timeously

Functional Outputs

Perform faultfinding
Attend to breakdowns
Electrical installations
Perform repairs and maintenance on Electrical equipment

General

Electronic Motor Protection
Experience on PLC’s and AC/DC Drives
Experience on SAP
Computer literacy
Driver’s License Compulsory
Must be prepared to carry out standby duties
