Our client is currently in need of a Floor Manager for their Restaurant just outside Stellenbosch. Our client is looking for an outgoing personality who is really good with people and can easily engage in interesting conversations. They need someone reliable, trustworthy and competent. This person must have at least one year’s experience as a waiter or floor/bar/restaurant manager.
The floor manager will be working night and weekend shifts and will be responsible for the all-round management of the restaurant, including service and staff. This person will ensure that the operations run according to the set standards during service. The floor manager will be responsible for managing the staff, cash-up, waiter duties, cleaning, alongside ensuring that the customers of the restaurant are attended to, at all times.
– Grade 12 qualification passed
– At least one year’s experience in the hospitality industry
– Valid driver’s license and own transport
– Bilingual (English and Afrikaans) – essential
– Must have an interest in sport
Shifts will be as follows:
Tuesday-Friday: 16:00-close (kitchen closes at 21:30)
Saturday: 10:00-close (kitchen closes at 21:30)
Sunday: 10:00-close (kitchen closes at 16:30)
