POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

General

Watchdog adherence
Notify supervisor & machine operator of nonconforming products & perform in-process quality checks.
Understanding and assisting in the full machine operation for machine set-up to laminated/ coat products (accordance to product specification and Finlam Technical/ Customer requirements)and assist machine operator where needed
Being able to interpret job card requirements. Ability to understand and follow all machine setting requirements
Ensure Safety awareness at workstation
Understand and assist with all machine maintenance for your workstation/lamination/ coating machine
Reporting of defects instruction. Be aware for the reporting structure and requirements i.e. Quality; Maintenance and Production for the Lamination/ coating Process. Action must be taken to fix the problem immediately, and if there is any doubt, the fabric must be cut at the bridge, wound onto the A-Frame and the machine stopped.
Process control – Ability to flow all work instructions that include operating the Lamination/ coating machine, first off inspection/ resin pick up etc.
Packaging, Labeling & Handling of laminated/ Coated products.
General assistance of machine operator on all workstations.
Housekeeping

Fabric to be packed in such a way as to not damage the fabric.
Ensure all goods are stacked neatly and correctly. Control of Batches.
Safety must be enforced.
Ensure Housekeeping requirements are met
Communication

Ensure that stakeholders are notified when jobs are delayed. eg traffic problems, construction areas, accidents etc.
Supervisor must be notified of problems
Production Yields

Assist in collecting all production yields and have an understanding of Watchdog and how to fill it in.
Professionalism

Dress code to be uniform and professional at all times
Attitude to be positive and energetic
Physical Effort

Work requires lifting and/or moving 50kgs occasionally, frequently lifting and/or moving 25kgs, and constantly lifting and/or moving 10kgs
