Key Performance Areas (KPA’s) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s):
Administer disciplinary processes.
Keep accurate records of disciplinary procedures, grievances and performance reviews.
Provide advice and guidance to Line Management on disciplinary issues.
Advising managers and other employees on the Company’s employment policies and procedures.
Consistently and fairly implement HR Policies and Procedures.
Manage absenteeism and implement improvement strategies.
Schedule, take minutes and report in meetings when required.
Assisting with the recruitment & appointment of temporary and seasonal employees.
Assisting with the training and development of employees.
Regularly meet with the Company’s housing committee to ensure all issues are dealt with a timely manner.
Maintain an accurate list of available company housing and current occupants of houses.
Effectively maintain employee records, personnel files and databases.
Assisting the HR Manager with general HR and/or administrative duties.
To perform ad-hoc duties within the ambit of the job.
Must be adept at problem-solving, including being able to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Must possess strong interpersonal skills.
Must be able to communicate clearly in English, both written and orally, as to communicate with employees, members of the HR team and in group presentations and meetings.
Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities as to use time efficiently.
Must be organized, accurate, thorough and able to monitor work for quality.
Must be dependable and able to follow instructions.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Ability to work under pressure.
Must be willing to work weekends and Public Holidays, if and when required.
Must have a valid Code 8 driver’s license.
