Junior HR Consultant urgently needed: APPLY HERE
Main Purpose of Position:
To provide support to the call center in terms of all HR functions.
Act as Representative of HR department and Bytes as a whole, provide guidance and practical assistance to employees and managers as required
Assist with creating employee files and ensure that files are well organised and up to required audit standard.
Recruitment and selection processes and ensuring that the best-fit candidate is appointed; advertising of vacancies on various media.
Administration of engagement and termination of employees. Ensure that onboarding documentation is received, checked and correctly filed.
Drafting, printing and distribution of employee contracts.
Ensure contracts are signed before employees start.
Ensure all contracts are renewed / terminated timeously to avoid non-payment, or overpayment
Notify Line Managers of contracts reaching expiry date at least 2 weeks before expiry
Manage Contracts to ensure that there are no unnecessary roll overs for extended periods
Assist with payroll and inquiries when necessary
Assist with HR Issues i.e. data capturing, report writing, employee correspondence, UIF documentation, confirmation letters, etc.
Advise accurately in term of disciplinary action processes and procedures.
Approve leave on ESS
To capture data, coordinate information and documentation for reporting purposes
order, creating requisitions and other procurement
General housekeeping and assistance.
Assist with EE administration and processes.
Travel to other BPS sites for meetings and projects.
Ad-hoc HR administration and projects.

Required Education, Qualifications and Experience:
1-2 Years’ HR experience.
Tertiary HR Qualification.
Intermediate computer literacy in MS Office, especially MS Word and MS Excel (must be able to do Mail Merges and VLOOKUP’s)
HR System Knowledge: VIP and/or Oracle.
